Mayo Clinic Health System — Albert Lea and Austin will hold community health care forums Oct. 28 at Austin’s Paramount Theatre and Oct. 29 at Albert Lea’s Marion Ross Performing Arts Center. Both forums will begin at 5:30 p.m.

CEO Dr. Mark Ciota and Chief Administrative Officer Steve Waldhoff will discuss national health care changes, a new model of community care, and the medical centers’ long-term facility plans.

“Our leadership team wants to share with you what we can about the rapid changes we are experiencing in health care,” Ciota said in a press release. “Just as importantly, we want to hear from you with your concerns and questions. With the numerous challenges facing the health care industry, leaders across the country are redefining, realigning, and retooling organizations so they can meet the ongoing needs of patients. And that’s exactly what we have to do to in Albert Lea and Austin as well.”
