Riverland Community College center and Austin grad Rebekah Aase was recently named MACAC Southern Division player of the week for the second time this season.

Aase averaged 19.7 points, 11 rebounds, 4.5 assists, 3.3 steals and 2.3 blocks per game while leading the Blue Devils (7-4 overall) to three straight wins last week. She shot 58 percent (26-for-45) from the field over that stretch.
