Austin Community Education is bringing in an award-winning instructor to teach the residents of Austin how to make truffles.

Nancy Burgeson, winner of the Wilton Enterprise’s “Outstanding Performance” award, will hold her community education class from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 6. In this class, each student will take home a classy box with 15 to 18 truffles from five different recipes. The class is $30 with an additional $12 supply fee collected by the instructor on the day of the class.

Burgeson is a member of the Wilton Teacher’s Hall of Fame, a regular guest on Twin Cities Live, and is a highly sought instructor who has been teaching for nearly 35 years. Wilton is considered by many as a leader in the baking industry.
