Mandy Wangen, daughter of Robin and Larry Wangen of Albert Lea, and Zachary Johnson, son of Bonita and Craig Johnson of Bloomington, proudly announce their engagement.

Mandy is a 2002 Albert Lea High School graduate, and she graduated from Minnesota State University in Mankato with a degree in school counseling. She is employed at the Cambridge-Isanti School District.

Zachary is a 2001 graduate of Jefferson High School and also graduated from Minnesota State University, Mankato, with a mass communications degree. He works at CH Robinson World Wide.

The couple will wed in October in Albert Lea. They will live in Champlin, Minn.

Proud grandparents include Donna Winkels and the late Benjamin Winkels of Austin, Martha Wangen and the late Orin Wangen of Albert Lea, Marion Ziegler and the late Edward Ziegler of Hopkins, Hazel Johnson and the late Ingvald Johnson of Benson, Minn.
