First-run standard obituaries, with as many as two photos, are $55, and include 10 free copies of that edition of the Austin Daily Herald. Obituaries that exceed 500 words, with as many as two photos, are $80, and also include 10 free copies of the Herald. Second and all subsequent publications of obituaries are 50 percent of the original charge.

Funeral Notices — which consist of service, visitation and internment information and where to send memorials — are $15. Pending Notices are free.
