Rebel girls hold off Dover/Eyota 82-72

The Southland girls basketball led by 28 points before having to hang on to beat Dover/Eyota (13-11 overall, 10-8 Three Rivers) 82-72 in Adams Tuesday.

Southland (17-6 overall, 12-6 Three Rivers) had its big lead with 10 minutes left in the game.

“They got hot and we forced a few shots. We had to hold them off,” Southland head coach Bob Sheehan said.
