I have lived in Austin for over 20 years and very much appreciate the curbside recycling program we have.

I try to recycle everything that I possibly can. I would love the single sort option since more things would be eligible for recycling. The problem is the loss of jobs for Cedar Valley.

Those 14-17 members of our community have done a fantastic job, and it would hurt our community to lose those jobs as well as the taxes they pay and the spending they do in the community. If keeping the jobs in the community with Cedar Valley is not possible with the single sort option, then I support keeping what we have. To me the jobs are more important than having the single sort option.
