Register for Ryan Gordon Memorial Golf Tournament

The Ryan Gordon Memorial Golf Tournament and Silent Auction returns to Adams on Saturday, June 16, at the Cedar River Country Club – located approximately 20 miles southeast of Austin.

Started in 2013, the tournament has donated over $35,000 to The Hormel Institute to fund innovative cancer research.

This year’s tournament consists of a four-person, best-shot golf tournament with a shotgun start at noon. The tournament will be followed by a silent auction and dinner.

The tournament is played in memory of Adams native Ryan Gordon who passed away from stomach cancer in 2011 and was an avid golfer. His parents, Roger and Shirley Gordon, created the tournament in 2013 to support cancer research while playing the game Ryan was so passionate about.

All proceeds will be donated to The Hormel Institute to fund cancer research, and as with all gifts to The Hormel Institute, 100 percent of the donation will go directly to research.

Cost for the tournament is $50 per player which includes dinner following golf. A dinner-only option is also available for $12. Cart fees are extra, and teams are encouraged to register early to ensure availability.

Register by calling the Pro Shop at 507-582-3595.
