Habitat set to celebrate new location

Habitat for Humanity Freeborn/Mower will celebrate its grand opening of its new location. from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday at the Sterling Shopping Center at 1415 First Avenue SW.

There will be refreshments and plenty of merchandise to browse through in the Restore.

In addition, they will be having a ribbon cutting ceremony at 2 p.m. on the Wednesday. The Chamber of Commerce and board members will be on hand and refreshments will be served at the ceremony.

Habitat will also take part in Christmas in the Southwest from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday

The Restore is now accepting donations so please bring your gently used items. It accepts furniture, appliances and building items. If the items can’t be brought to the Restore, Habitat will come and pick it up for you. For more information or to see if certain items can be accepted call 507-433-1349.
