Mower County Master Gardener

Are you interested in gardening?

Do you want to learn more about gardening in a fun and rewarding way?

Do you want to use your gardening interest to help your community?  Consider becoming a Mower County Master Gardener!

Who are the Master Gardeners of Mower County?

We come from all walks of life, different communities in Mower County, and have different levels of gardening knowledge.  Being a Master Gardener gives us the opportunity to learn more about all aspects of gardening, spend time with people who have our same interest, and to volunteer by advising others about the science and art of gardening.

As Master Gardeners, we are eager to share best practices in gardening with people in our community promoting healthy landscapes, healthy foods, and healthy lives. Master Gardeners complete a university-taught core course and contribute time to teaching research-based horticulture practices in their communities.

We’d love to have you join us.
