Seven ticketed for underage drinking

Austin police wrote seven minor consumption tickets after breaking up a party early Saturday morning.

Dylan Bangert, 20, Nathan Chamberlin, 20, Cody Dill, 19, Nicholas Jensen, 20, Katelyn Weckwerth, 20, Briana Zook, 19, and a 17-year-old girl were all cited for underage drinking. Police broke up the party at the 700 block of Ninth Street SE at about 1:30 a.m. after a noise complaint. According to the police report, officers did not give a ticket for violating the social host ordinance.
