Mayo Clinic Health System in Austin has recently added two new employees to the hospital staff.

Abby LeVasseur, nurse practitioner, has been added to the Austin family medicine department.

LeVasseur received her Master’s of Science Degree in nursing from Viterbo University in LaCrosse, Wis. She previously worked in the emergency department at Mayo Clinic’s Saint Marys hospital in Rochester. She will work as a member of a care team in the Family Medicine department. Dr. Laura Fisher has been added to the emergency department.

Dr. Fisher earned her medical degree at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Ill., and completed her residency at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester.
