Thrivent Financial moves

The Thrivent Financial-Laura Tjomsland agency is on the move.

The agency relocated from 201 S Main St. to 1211 Fourth St. NW on July 2, and now is in the same building as Thrivent agent Kathy Wichmann, who owns the building.

“It makes sense to bring the offices together for the most effective use of our office space and staff, and it’s the most effective model for us to serve our members,” said Wichmann, financial associate with Thrivent Financial. “We thought it would be a good idea to share the space so that we can learn from each other and have the entire team’s expertise consolidated in a single space to maximize our individual skills, so members receive the best service.”

Both teams collaborate and work together on case studies and enjoy bouncing ideas off of one another, Wichmann said.

“We create opportunities for members to strengthen their communities by bringing them together to support one another and the causes they care about,” Wichmann said.

The two have joined forces on the community “Red, White, and Pink” event held annually in February, and this summer they are doing Flamingo Flocking to raise funds for Lyle Area Cancer Auction.

“It’s all about security, community, generosity,” Wichmann said.
