Academic achievements

I was awarded the Big Nine Academic Award in every sport I have participated in and have maintained a 3.6 GPA through high school.

 Activities

I am a senior at Austin High School. I am in a variety of activities at school and was voted captain of the Austin Packer football team. We had a great season, and I take pride in leadership on and off the field. I am a member of National Honor Society and enjoy volunteering my time throughout the community. I am also president of the Austin FIRST Robotics team. We recently spend four days at a regional competition in Duluth, where we made it to the final round of competition. I have learned a lot about the direction I want to take in my future from my experiences with FIRST Robotics.

A person who has had a positive impact in your academic or school life

Mr. Mark Raymond, my physics teacher, has been a huge influence on the way I view the real world and how things work. He is someone I have always been able to count on when I need advice.

 Potential college plans

I will be studying mechanical engineering next fall at Iowa State University. My goal in life is to be successful in my chosen career and to find a job I enjoy going to everyday.
