The show will begin Feb. 27 and run through April 4. A reception will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday on the second floor of the ArtWorks Center where hors d’oeuvres and beverages will be served. The reception is open to the public.

Kittleson has shown his work in collections across northeast Iowa and southeast Minnesota.

Kittleson said his art, “represents the power to overcome any challenge, mental or physical.”

He developed a talent for visual art after becoming partially paralyzed in a school wrestling accident and later re-developed it after experiencing the onset of Rapid-Onset Dystonia Parkinsonism. His faith in God and passion for art motivate him to keep a positive outlook and contribute to the area’s art community.
