A Mower County deputy recovered a stolen vehicle in Austin on Saturday when the driver rolled through a stoplight on Oakland Avenue East, and inside the vehicle, there was even more.

According to the Mower County Sheriff’s report, the officer recovered a sawed-off shotgun with two live rounds. The serial number was removed from the shotgun.

The driver, 17, from Austin, was taken to Many Rivers Juvenile Detention Center in Olmsted County. Four passengers, three of them teens, were released to their parents. The adult passenger was not arrested, either.

The vehicle was reportedly stolen from St. Cloud on March 17, which the officer discovered after running the license plate at about 8 p.m. Saturday.
