Winona nail salon expands to Austin

After opening two successful nail salons in Winona, Martin Tran felt it was time to expand to Austin.

Beauty Nails, a professional nail service salon, opened its doors for the first time today.

The salon, located at 1906 Eighth Ave. NW, Suite C in Austin, specializes in manicures, pedicures, color tips, nail art, artificial nails, and everything else that has to do with nails, according to Tran.

“(Austin) is a good location and a good opportunity,” Tran said, adding that he felt it was time to expand.

Tran has three employees, but he said he will be hiring more help.

He lives in Winona, where he owns Beauty Nail of Winona and Rose Nail, but he said he plans to move to Austin.

Beauty Salons in Austin is open Monday-Friday, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and closed Sundays.
