Support Goetz at the polls Tuesday

Once again we have the opportunity to choose who will represent us on the Austin School Board.

There are a number of candidates who are running and no doubt each of them has certain attributes and qualities that they hope to bring to the table.

I would like to express my support for Angie Goetz for school board. Angie is exactly the type of person we need on our school board. She is smart, hard working and exceptionally honest. She cares deeply about our community and has shown it through her actions and activities throughout the past decade.

Angie and her husband Cory have three school age children. They have been working with teens in our town since they arrived about a decade ago. Angie is a skilled communicator, an excellent listener and very much in favor of seeing positive values instilled in our young people at every opportunity. I have seven children and I would completely trust Angie to develop policies and choose curriculum for any of them.

If you want a person who has your children’s best interests in mind on our school board, vote for Angie Goetz on Nov. 8th.

Kevin Kestner,
Austin
