Summer is ending, which means we’re all getting even more games to play over the next few months. There’s a bevy of great titles to pick up, but we’ve found a few of the biggest games to be released on console between now and December.

 “Destiny”

360, PS3, PS4, Xbox One, Sept. 9

This is arguably the most anticipated shooter of the year as “Halo” creator Bungie is set to release a futuristic online multiplayer with RPG elements.

The game gives players a lot of choices to customize their characters, which should make this big-dollar title a must-play with large replay value.

“The Evil Within”

360, PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox One, Oct. 14

This spooky game has a lot of big-name horror developers attached to it. Shinji Mikami, the man who created the “Resident Evil” series and has gone on to make games like “God Hand” and “Shadows of the Damned,” is directing what should be a scary title just in time for Halloween.

 “Assassin’s Creed Unity”

PC, PS4, Xbox One, Oct. 28

The latest “Assassin’s Creed” is set in Paris before the French Revolution and could be an intriguing bridge between previous “Assassin’s Creed” stories set in the 1700s and the modern-day storyline. The title also introduces co-op multiplayer, which could be a great feature.

 “Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare”

360, PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox One, Nov. 4

Not simply another “Call of Duty,” this title could re-energize a massively popular series with futuristic weaponry and a flexible gaming engine. Plus, it has Kevin Spacey as a presumed bad guy, which means the campaign storyline could be good.

 “Dragon Age Inquisition”

360, PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox One, Nov. 18

The popular “Dragon Age” RPG series is coming back with a new entry that promises less button-mashing and more thought. “Dragon Age Inquisition” is set to expand on the world of “Dragon Age II” with a new character and more tactical gameplay.

 “Pokemon Alpha Sapphire/Omega Ruby”

3DS, Nov. 21

Nintendo always scores a hit with every “Pokemon” game and the new remakes of the 2002 titles “Pokemon Ruby” and “Pokemon Sapphire” appear to be just as fun as ever. There’s more to do in the Hoenn region, and developers have confirmed even more Mega Evolutions and a new twist on several legendary Pokemon.
