Local Bible study starts next week

For some, the Bible can be a difficult book to understand. For others, it is easy. Regardless of whether a person has trouble with Bible verses, it is helpful to have someone to assist in understanding the word of God.

Dr. Stephen DeFor will begin teaching the book of Mark at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12 at Austin Church of Christ. Each week the learners will be given an outline of the chapter to be studied and then the group will discuss each verse to see what it means and how it applies to our lives.

This is a study but also a fellowship which ends each week with a time of prayer for those who have needs. Coffee and treats will be served. If you have any questions about the Bible study, please call DeFor at 437-6140 or just come on Wednesday.
