The No. 2 seeded Blooming Prairie boys basketball team struggled out of the gates as its season came to an end on a 56-30 loss to No. 3 Faribault Bethlehem Academy (15-13 overall) 56-30 in the Section 1A West semifinals at Mayo Civic Center Auditorium Monday.

FBA used an early 11-0 run to take a big lead and BP (15-10 overall) couldn’t come up with answer. The Blossoms trailed 28-12 at the half and they never got within single digits in the second frame.

John Rumpza had 10 points in the loss for BP.
