Blooming Prairie boys find scoring balance in win over Kenyon-Wanamingo

Ten different players scored for the Blooming Prairie boys basketball team as it topped Kenyon-Wanamingo (0-10 overall) 60-34 in Kenyon Friday.

The Awesome Blossoms (7-2 overall) led 20-16 at the half, but they scored 40 second half points to put it away.

“Our run in the second half was keyed by solid team defense and the inside play of John Rumpza and Brett Wacek coupled with some key baskets on the perimeter by Scott Romeo and Anthony Nelson,” BP head coach John Bruns said.

Wacek had 13 points, four rebounds and three steals for BP and Rumpza had 13 points, 11 rebounds and three steals.
