Packer swimmers win 11 events to beat Albert Lea

The Austin boys swimming and diving team beat Albert Lea 95-84 in Albert Lea Tuesday.

The Packers took first in 11 of the 12 events.

Nick Brehmer took first in the 200-yard and 100-yard freestyle, Michael Thorsheim took first in the 200-yard individual medley and the 100-backstroke, Carson Hackel took first in the 50-yard freestyle, Caleb Bentley took first in diving, Sawyer Myers took first in the 500-yard freestyle, and Chris Brown took first in the the 100-yard breaststroke.

The 200-yard medley relay team of Hackel, Brown, Thorsheim, and Craig Heimark took first, the 200-yard freestyle relay team of Brehmer, Jacob Bentley, Ian Christopherson, and Thorsheim took first, and the 400-yard relay team of Brehmer, Bentley, Christopherson, and Hackel took first.
