Daughter admits to threatening mother
A woman arrested for allegedly threatening her mother with a knife on Nov. 25 pleaded guilty to one of two charges against her Thursday in Mower County Court.
Danielle Lynn Sexton, 24, pleaded guilty to terroristic threats, a felony. A felony second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon charge may be dismissed. According to the court complaint, Sexton threatened her mother with a knife because she would not give Sexton money to go to Tennessee. Another person at the scene convinced Sexton to drop the knife before calling police. When police arrived, Sexton reportedly said she was going to stab her mother because she only cares for herself.
Nobody was hurt in the altercation. Sexton will be sentenced on Jan. 17, 2013.
