Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

The Austin Public Library is now offering limited curbside pick-up.

The service starts Thursday and will give people access to the library’s collection of books, moves and more.

There are two options available to order items, which are only currently available in the Austin library.

Email newsletter signup

1. Online: Go to www.austinpubliclibrary.org and click on the catalog to look at what is available in our library.  Select from available titles, then go to the library home page and click on the “Pick Up” icon to fill out the form.

2. By Phone: Call 433-2391 and speak with one of our librarians, who will assist you. You will be given a pick-up time.

For both methods a librarian will contact you with a pick-up time. When you arrive, please stay in your vehicle. Staff will bring your materials out to you and place them in your passenger side seat or trunk.

All due dates are set to May 11, however, no fines will be assigned on materials while the library is closed to the public.

All returned materials need to go in the drive-up book drop. Please do not hand them to staff.

Anybody wishing to return a hotspot or Chromebook should call 433-2391 to set up a time to return those items. Do not put them in the book drop.

The library stresses patience as this is a new process and subject to change. Availability of specific items will be limited.  This is a great time to try something new.
