After the gym’s ribbon cutting, a second ribbon cutting will feature the new solar system at the Grand Meadow Business Center.

Engineered and built by Novel Energy Solutions, the 30 kilowatt solar system is a major energy and technology upgrade for the Business Center, according to a press release.

In its press release, the Center thanked Freeborn-Mower Electric Cooperative, Novel Energy Solutions, APEX Fence, Olson Tree Service, First Alliance Credit Union, J & S Repair and the Grand Meadow City Council for their roles in helping get the solar system installed.

The Business Center invites people to stay after the ribbon cuttings for an open house, where people can enjoy refreshments, win door prizes and meet with representatives from the Business Center.

During the open house, the gym will not charge an enrollment fee for anyone who signs up for a membership.
