Scott Frank Nash, 60, of Austin, Minnesota, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, July 3, 2019, at Mayo Clinic Hospital, Methodist Campus-Rochester.

Scott was born Oct. 5, 1958, in Austin, to Kenneth and Frances (Myers) Nash. He grew up and attended school in Austin. Scott proudly served his country in the United States Army. On March 5, 1978, he married Darlene Larson at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Austin. Together they had three children, Erick, Janny and Jessica. Scott was a lifelong Austin resident and worked in renovations with his friends. He loved NASCAR, collected Menards memorabilia, was a big Minnesota Vikings fan, and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Scott was well loved and will be missed dearly by all who knew him.

Survivors include his wife, Darlene Nash of Austin; son, Erick Nash of Mapleview, Minnesota; daughters, Janny (Aubrey) Moton of Austin and Jessica (Bronson Dahmen) Nash of Austin; seven grandchildren, Kortez, Laveya, Korbin Bennett, Kaden, Kamryn Helfritz, Tayshaun Benson and Tionte Nash; two brothers, Gary (Jayne) Nash of Austin and Randy (Gail) Nash of Austin; two sisters, Jan (Dennis) Harmer of Austin and Jeanne (Brent) Crump of Austin; stepmother, Rosella Nash of Mapleview; two stepbrothers, Steve Hall of Austin and Mike Hall of Twin Cities; stepsister, Joy (Ron) Louters of Columbus, Ohio; and special friend, Gary Tabor of Austin.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Frances Nash; and one brother, Ricky Nash.

A celebration of life will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 10, 2019, at Worlein Funeral Home Chapel in Austin. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home. Worlein Funeral Home of Austin is assisting the family with arrangements.
