Ruiyun Yan (Graff), 55, of Austin, Minnesota, passed away on Thursday, March 15, 2019, at Guangxi University Hospital in Nanning City, China.

Ruiyun was born on Jan. 1, 1964, in Nanning City. On Aug. 5, 2003, Ruiyun was united in marriage to Duane H. Graff in Nanning City.

While in Austin, she worked at King Buffet for many years. Ruiyiun was known for her big heart and even bigger smile. In September 2016, she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer, to which she lost her two-year battle on March 15.

Survivors include her husband, Duane H. Graff of Austin; mother-in-law, Lois Graff of Austin; son, Min Huang of Nanning City; stepdaughter, Denise Graff of Austin; stepson, Jeremy Graff of Austin; brothers, Kunting and Kunli Yan of Nanning City; sister, Rulian Yan of Nanning City; and two grandchildren, Jackie and Coco Huang of Nanning City.

A private traditional Chinese funeral was held in Nanning City.
