Hayfield grads Carrie Rutledge and Lexi Dudycha are headed to the NJCAA Division III National Championships with the Rochester Community and Technical College volleyball team.

The Yellowjackets beat Minnesota State Fergus Falls in four games in the Region 13A Championship match to advance to nationals over the weekend.

RCTC (22-8 overall) will open quarterfinal play in the national tournament against Rock Valley or Harrisburg Area in RCTC at 6 p.m. Thursday.

Rutledge was named to the All-Region Tournament Team.

Rutledge has a team-high 426 kills on the season to go with 241 digs. Dudycha has 256 digs on the season.
