Bryan Lou Milks, 54, of La Crosse, Wisconsin, formerly of Austin, Minnesota, died Sunday, June 17, 2018, at Mayo Clinic Health System -Franciscan Healthcare in La Crosse.

Bryan was born Dec. 3, 1963, in Austin, to Donald Sr. and Ruth (Miller) Milks. He was baptized and a member at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Austin. He attended Austin High School and received his GED. He lived in various locations throughout his life, some of which include Austin, Winona, Minnesota, and Rochester, Minnesota; for the last few years he had been living in LaCrosse. Bryan controlled lighting for the band American Flyers for many years. They played at the Northstar Bar and traveled most of the Midwest on tour. He worked as a phlebotomist at Mayo Clinic in Rochester and also drove for Yellow Cab in Rochester for many years. During his time in Rochester, he became a member of the Assembly of God Church. Bryan was an avid pool player, enjoyed playing the guitar and was an avid Vikings fan. His pen collection was large and you could always find a calendar on the walls of his home. Bryan was always known for wearing cologne. Bryan will be missed dearly by his friends and family.

Survivors include his children, Aaron (Heather) Eggenberger of Lake City, Minnesota, Amber Eggenberger of Lake City, Dallas (Heather) Milks of Rochester, Cassidy (Lindsay) Milks of LeRoy, Minnesota, and Melinda Andrist of Rochester; brothers, Ron “Dode” (Tricia) Milks of Adams, Minnesota, and Tony Personius of Iowa; sister, Terri Personius of Owatonna, Minnesota; seven grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Bryan is preceded in death by his father, Donald Milks Sr.; mother, Ruth (Roy) Personius; brother, Donald Milks Jr.; and infant sister, Brenda Lou Milks.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 23, 2018, at Worlein Funeral Home in Austin with Pastor Jeremy Johnson officiating. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery. Worlein Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
