Austin takes down Mayo in home finale; Medi Obang hits for 24 to lead Packers

The Austin boys basketball team beat Rochester Mayo (10-13 overall, 8-11 Big Nine) 80-65 in its final home game of the regular season in Packer Gym Tuesday.

The game was tied at 50 in the second half when Medi Obang converted a lay-up to make it 55-50 and he added a couple of late three-pointers to help the Packers (23-1 overall, 18-1 Big Nine) ice the game.

Obang finished with 24 points and six three-pointers.
