Area youth are invited to attend a workshop series to learn how to make basic alterations along with prom and special occasion dress alterations at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 24 ,at the Mower County 4-H building.

4-H has teamed up with longtime owner of Belles & Beaus, Marie Fryer, to teach you how to alter your item. You will be guided through this learning experience by someone who has done alterations professionally for many years.

Three to five meeting places are planned, depending on the nature of the projects. In addition to learning lifelong skills, it is a timely class, since it is a good time to learn how to alter a prom dress.
