Bruins blow past Wings 5-1

The Austin Bruins had a big third period as it beat the Aberdeen Wings (27-14-3-1 overall) 5-1 in Riverside Arena Friday.

The Bruins (25-13-2-4 overall) scored three third period goals as Travis Kothenbeutel made it 4-1 as he became Austin’s all-time leader in career goal goals scored. Dante Sheriff had two goals in the win.

Alex Schilling stopped 30 shots to get the win for Austin.
