Blooming Prairie girls fall to WEM

The Blooming Prairie girls basketball team lost to Waterville-Elysian-Morristown (6-11 overall, 3-4 Gopher) 63-52 on the road Friday.
Sam Wurst had 12 points and 13 rebounds in the loss for BP (9-3 overall, 5-2 Gopher). WEM closed the first half on a 10-0 run.
“The girls gave great effort tonight in Waterville, but just couldn’t quite get out of a hole we dug ourselves in the first half,” BP head coach John Bruns said.
