As we begin a new year, we are still trying to recover from the shock of losing Chris on Sept. 2.

Words cannot express our gratitude for the outpouring of prayer, community support, encouragement, flowers, food, gifts and tributes to Chris during his time in the hospital and the days following his passing. The final diagnosis was cardiac arrest due to a type of Heritable Arrhythmia Syndrome.

A foundation fund has been set up in Austin High School student Chris Fischer’s memory to support youth organizations. Fisher died in 2017 after a cardiac arrest at football practice. Photo Provided
