The Austin boys basketball team pulled away late in the game as it beat Mankato East (14-9 overall, 12-8 Big Nine) 72-58 on the road.

Austin sophomore Both Gach, who had 20 points, four rebounds, four steals and three assists, had a couple of late steals that he converted into dunks to help seal the win. The Packers (18-5 overall, 16-4 Big Nine) forced 16 turnovers in the win.
