Blooming Prairie boys basketball team rallies past Lyle-Pacelli

The Lyle-Pacelli boys basketball team let a lead slip away as it lost 56-52 to Blooming Prairie in BP Tuesday.

The Athletics (2-2 overall) led for much of the night until BP (2-1 overall) took the lead for good when Jake Ressler put the Awesome Blossoms up 53-52 late in the game.

Dawson Heuer helped ice it for BP when he went two-for-two on free throws for his only points of the game.

Noah Jiskra had 20 points, seven rebounds, five assists and four steals and Jordan Cotter had 14 points and eight rebounds.

“We just didn’t execute offensively down the stretch,” LP head coach Scott Koenigs said. “It’s a frustrating loss against a section team when we thought we should’ve taken care of and we didn’t.”
