A 24-year-old Austin woman was the victim of a break-in Thursday where suspects ransacked her home but don’t appear to have taken anything.

Police Chief Brian Krueger said the woman reported the crime at the 800 block of 10th Avenue Southwest shortly after 5 p.m. Thursday. The break-in occurred between 1:45 and 4:50 p.m., according to Krueger.

The victim found many drawers in her home and been tossed onto the floor, but she was unable to find if anything was taken. She told police she didn’t have any known enemies who would terrorize her, according to Krueger.

It appears the suspects forced the victim’s front door open to get inside.
