Comic store to move to old Tranny Shop; Owners start online fundraiser for relocation costs

Austin’s comic book store is looking for a little help to relocate to a new location.
Legacy Comics and Games has launched an IndieGoGo crowd funding campaign to raise $4,000 in relocation costs for its new location at 501 First Ave. SW, the site of the former Tranny Shop. The comic shop is currently inside Oak Park Mall.
Legacy staff launched the Indiegogo campaign on Tuesday. As of Thursday morning, Legacy has raised a little more than $1,000.
Staff hope to use the larger space for more inventory and more tournaments for various card and tabletop games.
Other mall tenants
Legacy isn’t the only business looking to move out of the Oak Park Mall, however. Two Bears Trading Post is also looking for a new location, as are several businesses such as A to Z Treasures and Just For Kix.
