PRESTON — Good Samaritan Society – Home Care will celebrate 20 years of service to southern Minnesota and northern Iowa with a community open house and lunch on from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at its office at 200 St. Paul St. in Preston.

Home Health Director Vickie Lynch said that while the high level of care has stayed the same over the years, technology has enhanced care options.

“We’re here because there was a community need,” she said in a press release. “The whole demographic of home care has changed in 20 years, but we’ll continue to serve our community and do what we’ve always done. We’ll add to that by expanding our technology.”

Some services available are medical response technology, home health visits and rehab options.
