Austin seventh grade girls basketball team takes third in Great State Tournament

The 7th grade Austin girls' basketball team finished third place Saturday at the Great State tournament at Target Center. The tournament consisted of the top eight Pacesetter teams from Minnesota, Iowa, South Dakota, and North Dakota. Austin beat Waterloo East 45-17, lost to Eden-Valley Watkins 40-36, and beat Wilmar in the 3rd place game 41-32.
