Bruins grab a goalie in first round of NAHL draft

The Austin Bruins made their first step towards trying to get back to the Robertson Cup Finals as they made their picks in the NAHL Entry Draft Tuesday.

In the first round, the Bruins grabbed Zach Driscoll, a goalie from Eastview High School and they took Max Gottlieb, a defenseman from the Bonnyville Pontiacs, in the second round.

The rest of Austin’s draft picks include: Geary Patrick, a forward from Lloydminster, Micahel Davies, a defenseman from St. Louis U18, Patrick Polino, a forward from Green Bay, Alex Jasiek, a forward from St. Louis U18, Adam Durkee, a forward from Fort McMurray, Kyle Eastman, a forward from Tri-City Storm, Evan Weinger, a forward from LA Jr. Kings U18, Zach Kennedy, a forward from Northland Pines, JC Maclean, a forward from New Jersey Rockets and Blake Christensen, a forward from Lincoln Stars.
