The Austin Bruins lost their first home game of the season when they lost to Brookings (5-17-6 overall) 3-1 in Riverside Arena Friday.

The Bruins (18-9-1 overall) had rattled off 12 straight home wins to start the season.

Austin had 36 shot attempts, but its only goal came in the third period when Lucas Kohls scored to make it 3-1.
