The Austin Bruins got off to a slow start and never recovered as they lost 7-1 at Brookings (4-10-5 overall) Friday.

Austin’s troubles began before the game even started as their bus broke down and they had to get a charter, which caused the start of the game to be delayed by about one hour.

Guillaume Leclerc tied the game at 1-1 for the Bruins (14-5 overall) in the first period.
