The second annual Grape Stomp Festival at Four Daughters Vineyard & Winery will be held on Saturday.

The second annual Grape Stomp Festival at Four Daughters Vineyard & Winery will feature many new experiences for southern Minnesota. The Festival will center around its namesake activity, an old-fashioned grape stomp, which will be held on Saturday, Sept. 21.

To kick off the festivities, a celebrity grape stomp will be held at 7 p.m. Sept. 20 with the winner receiving a check for the charity of their choice. Last year’s winners, Duncan & Samm from the KROC morning show, will be back to defend their title. Saturday’s grape stomp will feature teams of two going head to head in competition. Whoever collects the most juice from the stomping wins the competition and heads to the next round.

For the second year, the New England-style Lobster Boil will kick off the harvest activities, as reservation-only guests will be treated to an authentic lobster boil experience in the vineyard. There will also be a local rock and blues band. Throughout the weekend, visitors will be treated to local wine grape tasting, a self-guided tour through the vineyard, with an optional paired wine flight, and free tours through the production and grape crushing areas.
