HAYFIELD — Hayfield senior Dani Wagner will be a Gopher.
Wagner made a verbal commitment to play softball at the University of Minnesota recently.
Wagner, who is a catcher for the Vikings, hit .603 this past spring with 5 homers, 6 doubles, 5 triples and 25 RBIs.
The Gophers finished 36-19 overall last season as they were knocked off in the Regional tournament.
Wagner will receive a partial athletic scholarship.
