Our great thanks to the following Austin people for assisting us in retrieving my purse which I had left at the McDonalds on West Oakland Avenue on April 15:

Specifically, our thanks to the unknown person who turned the purse into McDonald’s manager; the manager for his safekeeping; officer Tyler Wilson who retrieved the purse and turned it into the Police Chief’s office; to Jean, secretary to the police chief; to Sue the dispatcher who sent the police to McDonald’s; and to the officer who stood in line at the Post Office to mail the purse back to us.

These actions will always bring back good memories of Austin and the honest and good people who live there.
