Both suspects, whom a Target loss prevention employ said tried to steal items from the store multiple times, pleaded not guilty Thursday in Mower County Court.

Yoanna Hernandez-Vera, 20, and Andres Vazquez-Garcia, 25, both of Austin, pleaded not guilty to a felony theft charge. The Target employee, who reported the suspects on Jan. 6, said the two have stolen from the store at least three times.

According to the court complaint, the employee called police, and officers arrived and blocked the vehicle in which the two suspects were loading retail items at about 6:30 p.m. The employee showed police video surveillance and tallied the stolen items at $1,070.
