ZUMBROTA — The Hayfield girls basketball team found just enough offense as they beat Zumbrota-Mazeppa (1-4 overall) 47-41 on the road Friday.

Dani Wagner had 15 points to lead the Vikings (3-2 overall).

Hayfield trailed by eight early on, but it found an answer.

“We kind of shot them out of their 1-2-2 zone and then they had to go to man defense,” Hayfield head coach Fred Kindschy said.
