MAPLETON — The Hayfield boys basketball team beat Cannon Falls (0-3 overall) 64-47 in the Maple River Invite Saturday.

The Vikings (2-1 overall) opened the game on a 25-8 run as they cruised to the win. Cole Kruger scored 18 points for Hayfield and Brady Kramer added 16.
